Join IUFC for a workshop featuring expert presentations and a guided tour of the climate-adapted tree study area at UC Riverside on Friday, February 27, 2026.
  • 8:30 a.m.      Check-in
  • 9-9:50 a.m.   Selecting and managing young trees by Fred Roth, PhD 
  • 10:05-11a.m. Climate resilient trees for the inland region, what the research shows by Lydia Tymon, PhD of UC Cooperative Extension 
  • 11 a.m.         Travel ~3 miles to the research plot at UC Riverside.
  • 12 Noon       Join us for a meetup, no-host lunch at nearby Mariposa Restaurant (optional). 
$65 fee for 3 CEUs
