Invasive insects have been causing significant impacts and threats to several tree species in Southern California wildland, urban and agricultural landscapes. Land managers, urban planners, landscape designers, tree care professionals, utility workers, growers and other stakeholders for public, tribal and private properties should be aware of current insect pest distribution, continued threats, and management strategies to reduce or mitigate the impacts. This webinar will provide updates on invasive tree pest infestation distribution, the latest integrated pest management strategy recommendations, regulatory status, and ongoing monitoring and research projects.
