John Leffingwell is a highly regarded consulting arborist in the Bay Area. He worked for 15 years at HortScience, a leading arboricultural consulting firm on the West Coast, and is now the President and owner of Woodreeve Consulting, based in Oakland, California. He is also the past President of the American Society of Consulting Arborists and remains very active with the Western Chapter of the ISA.

To help those who are sometimes stumped by tree problems, John will speak on how to develop a tree diagnostic process. His talk will cover how to tell the difference between signs and symptoms, identify common problems that affect trees, and outline some of the diagnostic challenges he has faced in the field.
