Featured Speaker:
Chris Bruner, Jr., Fairfield, CA
Chris Bruner Jr. is a second-generation tree worker whose roots in the industry run deep. Growing up surrounded by the sights and sounds of arboriculture, Chris developed a profound passion for the art and science of tree care from an early age. Despite earning a bachelor's degree in business, his heart drew him back to his true calling.
Now armed with both academic and hands-on experience, Chris stands as a Certified Treecare Safety Professional (CTSP) and a seasoned wildland firefighter. His journey is fueled by a dual commitment: to elevate the standards of safety within the tree care profession and to share his wealth of knowledge and expertise with others.
Chris's dedication to safety is not merely professional; it's personal. He understands the inherent risks associated with tree work and wildland firefighting, and he's determined to mitigate those risks wherever possible. Through training, advocacy, and mentorship, Chris strives to cultivate a culture of safety that protects both workers and the environment they serve.
In his pursuit of excellence, Chris embodies the spirit of a true steward of the land—a guardian of both trees and those who tend to them. With each day, he continues to forge a path marked by expertise, passion, and an unwavering commitment to safety in the tree care industry.
