From entry level to advanced, this program will offer information and training to all levels. The participants will learn the latest innovative techniques from skilled and qualified climbers
All Participants must bring their own Cal-OSHA approved gear to be inspected!
This workshop will provide tree care professionals with affordable hands-on training. Led by Fred Frey of Vintage tree care and a cadre of volunteer instructors who have numerous years of field and competition experience.
All participants must bring their own gear including: rope, saddle, flipline, and safety gear. All equipment must be Cal-OSHA approved and will be inspected.
Climbing Stations:
- Learn to Climb -Understand your equipment & knots
- Setting Your Climbing Line -Practice your throw line
- Methods of Entry -Footlock, body thrust, self belay, etc.
- Planning & Workclimb -Maneuvers, limb walk, & safety
- Aerial Rescue -Practice the techniques necessary to save a climber
- All participants must bring their own Cal-OSHA approved gear to be inspected!
All climbers will need to complete a waiver and insurance form.

**Refund policy: Refunds will be given up to 10 days prior to the meeting (subject to a $10.00 service fee).
